Privacy Policy
This page explains what Cloud Resilience Vendors learns about you when you read it or write to us. In short: very little. There are no accounts, no tracking and no cookies.
Who we are
Cloud Resilience Vendors (cloudresiliencevendors.com) is published by Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we", "us"). We decide how the personal information described here is used. The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. You can read every page and use the calculator and comparison tools without giving us any personal information.
What we collect
Messages you send. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. For a copyright notice we also receive the details the form asks for: the work, the address of the material, your statements and your electronic signature. A hidden spam-trap field is sent too; it is empty for real visitors.
Technical data logged by our host. Like any website, the servers that deliver these pages automatically record your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you request and the time of each request. This is used to run and protect the site.
Browser storage. The site does not set cookies and does not write to localStorage or sessionStorage. The calculator and comparison tools keep your choices in the page and, for the comparison tool, in the page address (for example /compare?v=firefly,arpio), so nothing is stored on your device once you leave.
Fonts from Google. Pages load the Spectral, Red Hat Display and Red Hat Mono fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When the fonts load, Google receives your IP address and browser details, as with any web request. We load no analytics, advertising or social media scripts.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To run, secure and fix the site, including server logs and font delivery: our legitimate interest in operating a working, safe publication (GDPR and UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- To read and answer your message, including correction, privacy and copyright requests: our legitimate interest in responding to readers, and where a request concerns your legal rights, our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Where the law requires your consent for a specific use, we will ask for it first.
International transfers
We are based in Israel, and our providers may process data in other countries, including outside your own. Israel has an adequacy decision from the European Commission. Where data moves to a country without one, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept for as long as we need to handle the request and any follow-up, and are then deleted. Copyright notices and counter-notices may be kept longer where we need them to show how a claim was handled. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider.
Your rights
EU and UK. You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of use or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to uses based on legitimate interests. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live or work.
California. Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, you can ask to know what personal information we hold about you, to delete it and to correct it. You can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do neither. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Israel. Under the Protection of Privacy Law, you can ask to inspect information held about you and to have it corrected or deleted if it is wrong, incomplete or out of date.
To use any of these rights, send a message through the contact form and choose the topic "Privacy request". We may ask for details to confirm the request is yours.
Children
The site is written for security, platform and procurement professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles information changes, for example when the contact form is connected to a delivery service or a new tool is added, we will update this page and its "Last updated" date. See also the cookie policy.
